The SWATCOM 4 is a portable voice amplifier that when attached to a throat mic or lightweight boom mic headset amplifies the user's voice. It allows users to speak at normal levels and be clearly understood while wearing face masks, PAPR'S (Powered Air Purifying Respirators) and/or protective suits.
It is ideal for use in a wide range of applications including those involving mass decontamination. First responders, doctors, nurses and emergency personnel wearing any type of protective mask or hood. In industry SWATCOM 4 can be used to improve person to person communication while wearing protective suits.
